Highlights : Rencontre de la Sécurité Roadshow 2025

by SPAC Alliance | November 2025 | News

The 2025 Rencontres de la Sécurité wrapped up last week with the final stop of this seven-stage tour across France, hosted by Sorhéa. Here is our recap of the conferences delivered by SPAC Alliance in partnership with CNPP, along with the many exchanges held with end users, integrators and security decision-makers throughout these seven months!

SPAC Alliance / CNPP Conferences

Each stop was an opportunity to deliver a joint SPAC Alliance (regulatory analysis and compliance) / CNPP (field feedback, support and product certification) conference. This combined approach provided a clearer view of the short-term actions required, both for end users bound by upcoming regulations (still pending in France) and for the wider ecosystem, whose responsibilities are increasingly engaged.

NIS 2, CER and CRA

Our sessions highlighted the complementarity between NIS 2, CER and CRA. Together, these texts form a coherent and structuring framework that raises overall security expectations, strengthens risk management and drives a closer alignment between physical and cybersecurity. We aimed to bring clarity, prioritisation and a better understanding of these obligations, especially regarding the central role of certifications.

Certifications and Compliance

Beyond legal requirements, certifications now play a strategic role. They help demonstrate security levels, structure internal practices, reassure customers and establish a durable compliance posture, even though compliance can only ever be temporary by nature. This dynamic also reinforces European technological sovereignty by promoting trusted, properly assessed solutions.

A Shared Vision of Security

These joint interventions combined strategic and regulatory perspectives with a practical and operational view of certification. A shared methodology emerged for building security with confidence:

  • Risk analysis
  • Audit and mapping of existing assets
  • Definition of the optimal solution
  • Continuous monitoring and testing
  • Governance

What These Seven Dates Revealed

The many discussions with participants and partners highlighted two areas where additional effort is still needed:

  • A continued need for clarity on European and national obligations and their concrete impact on affected entities.
  • A persistent difficulty in aligning physical security and cybersecurity.

Across the tour, we also observed a growing maturity in several key areas:

  • A willingness to fully embrace the Regulation / Compliance / Certification approach because it is necessary, not merely mandatory.
  • A stronger understanding of the value of sovereign, open and properly deployed solutions.
  • An increasing recognition of the importance of a collective approach to address an ever-evolving threat landscape.

Conclusion

The 2025 Rencontres de la Sécurité confirmed the essential role of information and synthesis in guiding all stakeholders toward long-lasting methodologies and solutions able to adapt to evolving threats and compliance requirements.

We would like to thank SORHEA by Hirsch for the organisation, our members COMMEND France, TIL TECHNOLOGIES by Hirsch and STid for perfectly embodying and illustrating our vision of security, as well as all other partners who contributed to the success of this year’s edition: Hanwha Vision, Milestone, ASSA ABLOY and Traka France.

A final word for CNPP, with whom we have greatly enjoyed preparing these interventions and will continue to do so in the future!
