SPAC Alliance
A EUROPEAN VISION OF SECURITY
Founded in 2020, SPAC Alliance was born from a simple observation: European security must be intelligent, built on trusted standards and certifications that make systems interoperable and reliable. Uniting major players in our market, we work toward European sovereignty and serve as an operational support for the entire ecosystem of physical and logical security.
OUR HISTORY
OUR HISTORY
FOUNDING OF SPAC ALLIANCE
Several major security players, including ANSSI, decided to come together to build a strong, sustainable security industry and unite the European market around a high-security, sovereign communication standard: the SSCP protocol:
ANSSI – AVANTAGES – CLR Labs – ELSYLOG – SAFE CLUSTER – SECURE SYSTEMS & SERVICES – STid – TIL TECHNOLOGIES – UNICACCES
SSCP PROTOCOL DEPLOYMENT
In its first year, SPAC Alliance supported several physical security industries in integrating the SSCP protocol and launched its first working groups dedicated to creating SSCP certification schemes.
20 MEMBERS
Two years after its founding, SPAC ALLIANCE has brought together 20 members.
TOWARD GLOBAL SECURITY
First SPAC / ANSSI working group with the production of a deliverable explaining the technical and functional principles of offline locks. Objective: to update ANSSI recommendations on access control systems without centralized management.
REGULATORY REVOLUTION
Two major regulations, NIS 2 and CER, officially incorporate physical security as a key element in any cybersecurity strategy to counter all types of attacks (logical, physical, and hybrid).
OVER 50 MEMBERS
SPAC Alliance brings together over 50 members across Europe.
STRUCTURED REGULATORY FRAMEWORK
Initiated at the end of 2022 with the publication of the NIS 2 and CER Directives, the European regulatory framework is significantly structured by early 2024, with program launches, votes, adoptions, and publications of major texts (URWP, EUCC, eIDAS v2, CRA, AI Act, etc.). 2024 is undeniably a pivotal year for European cybersecurity regulation.
SSCP CERTIFICATION SCHEME
There are now three levels of SSCP certifications: basic, substantial, and high, aligning with the framework of the European Cybersecurity Act (CSA).
FOUNDING OF THE SPAC ALLIANCE CLUB
Aware of the transformation in security professions in recent years (CIOs, CISOs, access managers, security managers, etc.), the SPAC Alliance Club provides support and guidance to help them confidently and effectively navigate the regulatory and security changes that will impact their market and organization.
