Our General Assembly was held on October 10 at Genetec, bringing together members of the European physical and cybersecurity ecosystem.
Review of the past year, ambitions and trends for the year ahead, 2030 strategy… here is a concise summary of this key moment of the year.
President’s message: a clear course for the future
In his opening remarks, Vincent Dupart, President of SPAC Alliance, recalled the organization’s purpose:
“To unite and advocate for the European physical and cybersecurity ecosystem, influence to preserve our technological sovereignty, and sustainably protect industry players and users through open, interoperable technologies.”
The ambitions set for the coming years reflect this vision:
- Develop the ecosystem of providers and users,
- Build the Alliance’s self-sufficiency through a service offering,
- Make the SSCP protocol accessible to all,
- Strengthen our expert and advocacy role with national and European institutions.
2025: momentum confirmed
SPAC Alliance continues to grow with the arrival of 14 new members who strengthen and diversify our expertise. We are now more than 70!
This growth is reflected in strong visibility both online and in the field:
- +34% online meetings and events,
- +23% participation in trade shows and events across Europe,
- +22% LinkedIn followers,
- Record web traffic on the new website every month.
Added to these strong figures are rising LinkedIn engagement and very good search engine rankings. These markers reward the quality of the articles, guides and webinars produced by SPAC Alliance and its members.
HESTIA: a structuring project for the ecosystem
Among the major achievements, the HESTIA project illustrates SPAC Alliance’s ability to rally around concrete standardization initiatives within the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
Supported by France 2030, the European Union, NCC-FR and Bpifrance, this project involved all members throughout the development of CRA Standard No. 16:
- Pre-standardization: drafting the pre-standardization specification, responding to the NCC-FR call for projects, preparing the technical specification, submitting the New Work Item,
- Standardization: contributing to the public consultation, positioning our member CLR Labs as rapporteur and editor of Standard No. 16, developing the standard within CEN/TC 224 WG 17.
SSCP: on the way to a European standard
The SSCP protocol, central to SPAC Alliance’s mission, is entering a new phase.
Its European standardization process will start at the end of 2025 and run through 2029, alongside the following enhancements:
- Functional: serial number, container command,
- Security: compliance with post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and the CRA.
In addition, SSCP functional certifications will be strongly promoted through a communication and advocacy plan to inform, raise awareness, and support users on compliance and high security.
SPAC Alliance Club & Services
VIP support for end users
The SPAC Alliance Club, officially launched during the APS 2026 trade show, is a strategic lever of the SPAC 2030 Plan. Dedicated to end users (CIOs, CISOs, security directors, engineering consultancies, architects), the Club offers, in addition to the public content on the site:
- Active monitoring of European texts country by country,
- Expert analyses of regulations (NIS 2, RED, CRA, etc.),
- Access to advanced compliance documents (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, NIS 2 compliance frameworks, etc.),
- Support in defining security levels,
- Tailored offerings adapted to users’ needs in each country.
SPAC Alliance now provides a service portfolio to support end users across most aspects of physical and logical security, regulatory compliance, training and awareness.
“The objective is clear: transform the Alliance into a true service and matchmaking platform between public and private stakeholders and end users,” emphasized Vincent Dupart.
Continuing our work with institutions
Since its creation, SPAC Alliance has strengthened its position each year as a reference player in European regulatory and standardization work.
Updates to the ANSSI guide, advocacy with European institutions (NIS 2, CRA), standardization with CEN-CENELEC (CRA Standard No. 16), EN certification and standardization of the SSCP protocol… we are more than ever recognized as a technical expert and spokesperson for market stakeholders.
CSR: building a sustainable and inclusive model together
CSR has become a pillar of SPAC Alliance’s strategy. With the progressive entry into force of the CSRD and the European VSME (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs), the Alliance is committed to supporting its members in their transition to robust, structured sustainability reporting.
The CSR workshops held at the Campus Cyber in Marseille helped define three priority areas:
- Eco-design and recycling (badges, components, tags),
- Inclusion and improvements to the Disability Act,
- SPAC Alliance CSR Charter to unite members around shared commitments.
A dedicated CSR working group will be created to help our members adopt the VSME standard, share best practices, and prepare for future CSRD requirements.
This collective approach aims to give SPAC Alliance a leading role in the sector’s sustainability and position its members as pioneers in extra-financial performance.
2026: focus on implementation
The General Meeting concluded with reinforced governance, an expanded Board of Directors, and the approval of new membership fees to support the ambitions of the SPAC 2030 Plan.
The Board of Directors is now composed of:
- Vincent Dupart (CEO – STid)
- Florent Daniel (Chair – Elsylog)

- Mickaël Wajnglas (Head of Strategic Partnerships – SPAC Alliance)
- Laurent Merlini (CFO – STid)

In conclusion

We have given ourselves the means to match our ambitions and will sustain this momentum with all our members!
