Can you tell us about your activity?

Cyberwings is an independent, open-source-focused consultancy specializing in ethical hacking and strategic information management. Our teams come from the infosec community and the field of information systems security, with deep experience acquired through numerous missions, competitions, and certifications.

Since 2001, our experts have been active across the globe—on forums, at conferences, in competitions, in the deep web, and in specialized communities—relentlessly monitoring the latest vulnerabilities, exploits, techniques, and tools. This deep involvement allows Cyberwings, along with its clients and partners, to always stay one step ahead of the adversary!

What are your security challenges?

Our cybersecurity challenges are substantial, as we handle highly sensitive data. Each test report we produce contains a detailed map of our clients’ vulnerabilities—a real instruction manual for attackers if it were to fall into the wrong hands.

We also hold strategic information on upcoming projects, technical architecture, and governance. This reality requires absolute rigor: maximum operational security, strict data classification, strict application of the “need-to-know” principle, systematic anonymization, and a firm ban on revealing our clients’ identities. Cybersecurity is not just a posture—it runs in our veins.

Why join SPAC Alliance and its ecosystem (European sovereignty)?

We are joining SPAC Alliance to actively contribute to strengthening a sovereign European ecosystem, fully aligned with our core values. Digital sovereignty is in our DNA: our infrastructure is 100% open source, hosted in France, and we develop our own end-to-end encrypted collaborative tools.

This sovereignty guides our technological choices, security practices, and ethical standards. As ethical hackers, we promote a cybersecurity approach that is responsible, transparent, and focused on the collective interest.

What benefits can the SSCP® protocol bring to the European security market? And to you?

Our partnership with SPAC Alliance makes perfect sense in light of the strict security approach required by the SSCP protocol—especially in physical security, identity management, and access control. These topics are at the core of our expertise: we conduct real-world physical penetration testing on sensitive sites to evaluate resilience against intrusions, identity theft, or human error.

For us, cybersecurity is a matter of defense in depth—in the spirit of Vauban—where every layer of the information system, including physical infrastructure, must be secured and aligned with the whole.

The importance of certifications in standardizing the European security market?

Certifications play a key role in strengthening the coherence of the European cybersecurity market. They help highlight real expertise and distinguish serious players who understand the deep issues from those merely riding the “hype.”

In a context of economic and geopolitical competition, building a shared foundation of trust and high standards is absolutely essential.
