Here is the recap of the “1 Day for 5 Years” event, organized by AN2V (a french National Video Protection Association) in Chartres Métropole, in which SPAC Alliance took part, represented by Mickaël Wajnglas and Sylvain Bosquet.
A day of foresight, discussion and collective work, bringing together institutions, local authorities, manufacturers and experts around the major security challenges of the next five years.
1 Day for 5 Years
With “1 Day for 5 Years”, AN2V proposed an ambitious format: taking one day to identify security priorities, share feedback from the field and bring out concrete ideas for the years ahead.
Objective achieved! Participants were able to exchange views, challenge perspectives and contribute to a collective reflection on key topics such as hypervision, sovereignty, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, solution interoperability and the evolution of the European regulatory framework.
Beyond the programme itself, the value of this format also lay in its ability to bring together the different links in the ecosystem around one shared question: how can we start building today the security roadmaps that will be needed tomorrow?
Active participation from SPAC Alliance members
SPAC Alliance raised several key questions regarding the security of public spaces, the harmonization of physical and cyber security levels, and the support needed by critical, essential and important entities in their compliance journey with the NIS 2 and CER directives.
The many members present during the day (COMMEND France, Orange Business, Hirsch France, CNPP, AniTEC, Aritech, FDI, Safe Cluster and Survision) were able to discuss these topics with the wider ecosystem, visitors and institutional representatives, including the French Ministry of the Interior, through DEPSA, as well as the General Secretariat for Defence and National Security (SGDSN). Local authorities were also strongly represented and deeply involved in the overall security approach.
Collective work, shared purpose
The discussions and workshops held throughout the day confirmed the importance of a collective approach to support the maturity of the entire ecosystem.
A coherent and shared security roadmap is the only way to achieve a sustainable level of security. This security cannot be built through technology alone, but also through cooperation, trust and the harmonization of practices. An approach perfectly illustrated by this outstanding AN2V event!
