MEET SPAC Alliance MEMBERS!
SPAC Alliance had a strong presence at the 2025 Sectech Norway edition with 5 booths (STid, SIMONSVOSS, ARITECH, GENETEC, SALTO). The Nordics teams warmly welcomed us, with many specific questions concerning their market.
SSCP is the New black
Awareness in the Nordics about the importance of a sovereign protocol is total. In this regard, many unique capabilities of the SSCP Communication Protocol are expected, and many manufacturers have requested technical details (particularly concerning transparent mode + 2FA) and have asked for specific presentations in the coming weeks.
SSCP is a key to high security in the Nordics.

45 Minutes to Introduce High Security!
Tibaud delivered a 45-minute presentation at the Open Forum of Sectech, covering key aspects of modern security. He covered new threats, the regulatory framework with NIS 2 and CRA (and many more!), and provided a focus on access control systems, protocols, and the SSCP ecosystem and certifications. Many issues were discussed immediately afterward, including the migration from obsolete technologies and manufacturers’ requirements concerning the Cyber Resilience Act.
Many Things to Build
We attended several insightful presentations (from Aritech and Idesco), and 2 major round-tables with Robert Jansson (STid)
- Open or proprietary security systems – is there freedom of choice?
- Is the industry handling the tightened cybersecurity requirements?
Obviously, some questions do not have a unanimous answer, but we are moving in the right direction. We must continue our efforts to unite and convince.
Once again (after the New Security event in Belgium last week), we met key players in the market and held several meetings to initiate ambitious projects involving the SPAC Alliance in the Nordics!
New members, physical events, webinars… Stay tuned!
Great People, Ethical Business
Right after landing the day before the show, we had quite an interesting dinner with STid‘s and Sotera‘s teams, which provided us with some key insights into Nordic’s security specifics (and many thanks to Robert Jansson for the very good steak!).
We met great people. But what amazed us was the consistency of this in the business field. Discussions underscored an ethical business approach, with deep consideration for all stakeholders, including competitors.
More than elsewhere, the idea of preserving independent actors and their specificities is a priority, and personal interests often come second. This aligns perfectly with our values and gives us a boost of motivation to defend our vision. And in Norway, they end the day with hot dogs, beer, and live music..
The Review
SECTECH Norway is a key trade show for understanding and connecting with the Nordic security ecosystem. Beyond Norway’s stunning landscapes and the kindness of its people, this event stood out for its shared perspective on security, encompassing field needs (including the SSCP protocol), regulations, as well as user expectations and comfort.
A special thanks to Thomas Sommerfeldt Preus (Sotera) for hosting the Thon Hotel Arena special event, and the support during the two days.
A final thank you to AR Media (Lennart Alexandrie and Deniz Baykal) for organizing our presentation!
